Blue Mountains Amateur Radio Logo Blue Mountains Amateur Radio Club Meetings / Nets...

Meetings

Meetings are held at 8pm on the first Friday of each month at the club's rooms. Visitors are welcome to come along and try us out a couple of times before applying to join the club.

There is usually general club business followed by a ham related topic of discussion or a presentation along with the chance to interact with current or prospective amateur radio operators. Also, sometimes, there are goodies for sale.

Don't miss out on picking up that bit of information that will help you make you next contact or to try a different mode - or - just come along for a social chit chat with your new or old bon ami.

Nets

BMARC operates several nets

HF Net

Tuesday evenings from 2000

During November to March 7120kHz (+/- QRM)
During April to October on 3543kHz (+/- QRM)

Depending on conditions we might swap from 40m to 80m so if you can't find us try both bands.

BMARC Monday Night VHF Net

Catch you all on 50.200 MHz USB + 144.200 MHz USB from 8:30PM Monday Nights..

We start on 6m at 8:30pm and move to 2m at 9pm. The net usually finishes up by 9:30pm

We use Heathcote repeater (146.800MHz FM -ve offset) as the liason frequency and the local crossband frequency (linked to Heathcote) (438.975-ve 5mhz offset) in the Bathurst area. Especially useful if you can't back to us on either 6 or 2m.

Please join in, on the BMARC (Sydney - Bathurst) VHF Net Monday Nights run by Markus VK2SK & Hank VK2BHL.

Watch this space for possible updates on times & freq.

Members are encouraged to participate, and visitors are welcome too.
